Procedure

A mixture of 3-(2-bromoacetyl)-1h-quinolin-2-one (Example 27(b), 270 mg, 1.0 mmol) and 2-amino-1,1-dimethyl-1-(phenylsulfonyl)ethane-2-thione (step b, 1.7 ml, 1.0 mmol) in 3.5 ml of anhydrous MeOH was heated at 120° C. for 5 min by microwave synthesizer. The reaction mixture was cooled to RT. The precipitates were collected by filtration and washed with MeOH and CH2Cl2 to provide the title compound as a light yellow solid. Ms m/z: 411.3 (m+1).
