Reaction Steps

In a similar manner to Example 3(a), starting with 5 g (18.7 mmol) of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-5,5,8,8-tetramethyl-2-bromonaphthalene, 4.3 g (100%) of the expected boronic acid are obtained.
