Reaction Steps
Condensation of BocDProOH (1.51 g.) and HPhe-PheOMe (2.53 g.) by the mixed anhydride method using isobutyl chloroformate gave BocDPro-Phe-PheOMe in 75% yield. Hydrazinolysis of BocDPro-Phe-PheOMe (2.00 g.) gave BocDPro-Phe-PheNHNH2 in 79% yield.
