Procedure
Commercial 1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridin-3-amine and (2,4-dichlorobenzylidene)malononitrile (Intermediate 1) were reacted according to the procedure of Example 1, Step A, and the crude product was purified by preparative HPLC (C18 reverse phase column, gradient elution with 10-80% acetonitrile in water containing 0.05% trifluoroacetic acid) to give the title compound as a yellow solid. LC-MS 355 (M+1).
