Procedure
Commercial 3-amino-4-carbethoxypyrazole and (2,4-dichlorobenzylidene)malononitrile (Intermediate 1) were reacted according to the procedure of Example 1, Step A, and the crude product was purified by preparative HPLC(C18 reverse phase column, gradient elution with 30-80% acetonitrile in water containing 0.05% trifluoroacetic acid) to give the title compound as a reddish-orange solid. LC-MS 376 (M+1).
