To an ice-cooled solution of {3-amino-6-[(2R,6S)-2,6-dimethylmorpholin-4-yl]-7-fluoro-1,2-benzisoxazol-5-yl}methanol (Intermediate 7, 200 mg, 0.67 mmol) in CH2Cl2/CH3CN mixture (4 mL, 1:1 v/v) was added NMO (119 mg, 1.0 mmol) followed TPAP (23 mg, 0.06 mmol) and mixture stirred for 2 h at room temperature. The reaction mixture filtered thorough a silica gel bed and washed with EtOAc. The organic phase concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a yellow solid. Yield: 100 mg, (50%).
