To a mixture of 600 mg of the above 7-[2-(3-chloro-pyridin-2-yl)-5-trifluoromethyl-2H-pyrazol-3-yl]-9-oxo-1,9-dihydro-8-oxa-1,2,6-triaza-cyclopenta[a]naphthalene-5-carbonitrile in 5 mL of acetonitrile/water (4:1, v/v) is added 1.1 mL (12.9 mmol) of isopropylamine. The reaction mixture is stirred during 4 hours at ambient temperature and then concentrated in vacuo. After purification by flash chromatography (SiO2, hexanes/ethyl acetate 4:1), 250 mg (38%) of a white solid are obtained; LC/MS:518/520 (M+H)+.
