100 mg (0.220 mmol) of methyl [[4-(3-chlorophenyl)-6-methyl-2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carbonyl]-(3-phenyl-2-propene-1-yl)-amino]acetate was dissolved in 2 ml of methanol. 0.480 ml of 1 N aqueous sodium hydroxide solution was added to the obtained solution, and they were stirred at room temperature overnight. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the residue was washed with water. After the slurry washing, the title compound was obtained.
