Reaction Steps
4-Methoxybenzylamine (0.073 mol) was reacted with carbon disulfide (0.073 mol) and iodomethane (0.073 mol) substantially as described in Example 1B above to obtain 7.2 g (43%) as a crystalline solid: mp 67°-70°.
