3.07 g of N-[2-((1R,3R,4S)-1-methyl-4-isopropylcyclohex-3-yloxy)ethyl]-N-(2-chl oroethyl)-N-methylamine hydrochloride were mixed with 8.8 g of 4-phenylbutylamine. The reaction mixture was stirred at a temperature of 45° C. for 8 hours. The reaction mixture was purified and simultaneously freed of excess 4-phenylbutylamine by chromatography on silica gel using tert.-butyl methyl ether. 3.52 g of oily N-[2-((1R,3R,4S)-1-methyl-4-isopropylcyclohex-3-yloxy)ethyl]-N-[2-(4-phenylbutylamino)ethyl]-N-methylamine were obtained.
