Reaction Steps
Using General Procedure B: Reaction of C-(3-methyl-pyridin-2-yl)-methylamine and 3-isopropyl-pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde with NaBH(OAc)3 in CH2Cl2 gave (3-isopropyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-(3-methyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)-amine as a yellow oil.
