This material was prepared from 3-[2-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-1-propylphenyl)ethenyl]benzoic acid 2B and pyridine hydrochloride in 86% yield in the same way as described in Example 3. 1HNMR (DMSO-d6, ppm): δ 1.22 (d, J=7.0 Hz, 6H), 6.48 (s, 2H), 7.03 (d, J=17 Hz, 1H), 7.12 (d, J=17 Hz, 1H), 7.46 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 1H), 7.7-7.9 (m, 2H), 8.06 (s, 1H), 9.12 (s, 2H).
