Reaction Steps
2-(2,2-Dibromo-vinyl)-3-ethyl-1,4-difluoro-benzene was prepared from 2-ethyl-3,6-difluoro-benzaldehyde, carbon tetrabromide and triphenylphosphine in analogy to Example 1d): colourless oil; 1H-NMR (CDCl3): 1.15 (3H, t, CH3), 2.60 (2H, qd, CH2), 6.89 (1H, ddd, ArH), 7.00 (1H, ddd, ArH), 7.26 (1H, s, CH═CBr2).
