Reaction Steps
2-Amino-thiazole-5-carboxylic acid methyl ester (1.58 g, 10.0 mmole) and 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid (1.98 g, 11 mmol) were processed as described in Example 3B to afford 1.26 g (49%) of the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ ppm 1.62-1.79 (m, 6 H) 1.86 (d, J=3 Hz, 6 H) 1.99 (s, 3 H) 3.26 (s, 3 H) 3.64-3.81 (s, 3 H) 8.30 (s, 1 H); MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 321 (M+H)
