The product from Example 35, Step A, 5-(5,6-difluoro-1H-indol-2-yl)-2-methoxy-phenyl isothiocyanate (0.316 g, 1.0 mmol) was reacted with (1S,2S)-(+)-2-amino-1-phenyl-1,3-propanediol (0.167 g, 1.0 mmol) according to the procedure for Example 23, Step B to give the product after trituration with hexanes/ethyl acetate, 1/1, v/v and filtration through silica gel using hexanes/ethyl acetate, 1/1, v/v as eluant The resulting orange oil/foam was triturated with hexanes/ether to give the product as an orange solid (0.155 g), mp (slow decomposition).
