tert-Butyl {1-[2-(7-methoxy-3-methyl-2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydroquinazolin-1(2H)-yl)ethyl]piperidin-4-yl}carbamate (Intermediate 111, 350 mg, 0.83 mmol) was reacted as described for Intermediate 106. The crude trifluoro acetate of the title compound was obtained as a black oil, 395 mg. (quantitative), and used without further purification for the next step.
