Procedure

50 mg of the product of Stage E, 500 ml of toluene, and a catalytic quantity of amberlyst 15 were mixed together and the mixture was refluxed for 20 hours. The amberlyst was filtered off, followed by washing. The solvents were eliminated under reduced pressure to obtain 0.20 g of the expected product.
