Procedure

1-(3-Acetylthio-2-methylpropanoyl)-L-proline is reacted with an ethereal solution of diazomethane according to the procedure described in Example 3 to obtain 1-(3-acetylthio-2-methylpropanoyl)-L-proline methyl ester.
