Reaction Steps
2.5 ml of iodotrimethylsilane are added at 0° to the solution of 7-trimethylsilylamino-3-(3-formyloxy-1-propen-1-yl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid trimethylsilyl ester obtained in Example 2a) in dichloromethane, and the solution is stirred for 41/2 hours at 0°. The NMR-spectroscopic data are identical to the data given in Example 1.
