Following a procedure similar to than described in Example 74(c), but using 1.36 g of 4-(1-hydroxy-2-methylpropyl)-2-propyl-1-{4-[2-(trityltetrazol-5-yl)phenyl]phenyl}methylimidazole-5-carbonitrile [prepared as described in step (b) above] in 75% v/v aqueous acetic acid, 0.87 g of the title compound was obtained as a glass.
