Reaction Steps
A solution of 11-8 (225 mg, 0.48 mmoles), TFA (2.5 mL), and CH2Cl2 (2.5 mL) was stirred at ambient temperature for 1.0 h. Concentration followed by flash chromatography (silica, 10:1:1 ethanol/H2O/NH4OH) gave 11-9 as a white solid. Rf 0.44 (silica, 10:1:1 ethanol/H2O/NH4OH).
