Reaction Steps
2-(3,4-Dimethoxybenzylamino)5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine, m.p. 158°-160° was prepared from 2-(3,4-dimethoxybenzylamino)3,4-dihydro-5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine (Example 12d). It was converted to its hydrogen maleate, m.p. 118°-121°.
