Barbituric acid (1.36 g.) and 2-amino-5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine (Example 4) (2 g.) in water (60 ml.) were stirred for 1.75 hours. The solid was collected and crystallised from water to give a solid m.p. 256°-258°.
