Sodium metabisulphite (1.5 g.) in water (45 ml.) was added to 2-amino-5-methyl-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f]-as-triazine (Example 4) (1.9 g.) in ethanol (20 ml.). The solid was collected and dried and had m.p. 232°-234°.
