Example 1 was repeated using the thiophene dioxide of Example 1 but substituting 1,2-diaminocyclohexane for 1,2-diaminoethane. The resultant product, N,N'-bis(1,1-dioxotetrahydro-3-thienyl)-1,2-diaminocyclohexane obtained was a viscous liquid that became a semi-solid. The infrared spectrum showed absorptions at 3300 cm-1 (NH), at 1300 cm-1 and 1130 cm-1 (SO2).
