Following the procedure of part (a) of example 39 but substituting 1,6-dibromohexane for the 1,4-dibromobutane, one obtains 2-(6-bromohexyl)-1H-benz[de]isoquinoline-1,3(2H)-dione; m.p. 95°-96°.
