Procedure
3.0 g. (0.0072 mole) of the compound of Example 3 was hydrogenated in 100 ml. of ethanol at 3 atmospheres employing 0.7 g. of 5% Pd/C. After the reaction was completed the ethanol was stripped off, the obtained white glass dissolved in ether and a white solid isolated which, after recrystallization from acetonitrile, gave a m.p. of 162°-164° C. The structure was confirmed by NMR.
