Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from 3-iodo-8-trifluoromethyl-6-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine (example C.18 step 6) (460 mg, 1 mmol) and commercially available 3-ethynylpyridine (105 mg, 1 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as a white solid (330 mg, 75%). MS (ISP) 432.1 [(M+H)+]; mp 169-170° C.
