The title compound was prepared from 3-ethynyl-7-trifluoromethyl-5-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (example C.10) (178 mg, 0.5 mmol) and 5-bromo-thiophene-2-sulfonic acid (2-hydroxy-1-hydroxymethyl-ethyl)-amide (example B.54) (158 mg, 0.5 mmol) according to general procedure II. Obtained as an orange solid (117 mg, 40%). MS (ISN) 589.3 [(M−H)−]; mp 210° C.
