Reaction Steps
(R)-5-phenylmorpholin-3-one was allowed to react with nitric acid in concentrated sulfuric acid, and the resulting (R)-5-(4-nitrophenyl)morpholin-3-one (F: 223) was subjected to catalytic hydrogenation in the same manner as shown in Reference Example 3 to obtain (R)-5-(4-aminophenyl)morpholin-3-one.
