Reaction Steps
3.89 g (9.3 mmol) [3-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-benzo[d]isothiazol-6-yloxy]-acetic acid tert-butyl ester in 35 ml CH2Cl2 were added 17 ml TFA at 0° C. The solution was stirred at RT for 2 h, concentrated and triturated with ether to yield 3 g (89%) [3-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-benzo[d]isothiazol-6-yloxy]-acetic acid as white solid, MS: 362 (M−H, 1Br).
