Reaction Steps
27 mg (0.38 mmol) hydroxylamine and 53 μL (0.38 mmol) triethylamine are added to a solution of 200 mg (0.35 mmol) 5-[5-(4-chloro-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylethynyl]-2-(2-pyrrolidin-1-yl-ethoxy)-benzaldehyde (Example 3.55b) in 2 mL of a 1:1 mixture of acetonitrile and MeOH. The reaction solution is heated to 85° C. After the reaction is complete the mixture is diluted with water and saturated NaHCO3 solution and the organic phase is extracted with DCM. The organic phase is dried over MgSO4 and the solvent is eliminated i.vac. The purification is carried out by column chromatography using HPLC-MS.
