Procedure

To a solution of 35 (0.600 g, 2.39 mmol) in EtOH (5 mL) was added hydrazine (0.0840 g, 2.63 mmol). The resulting mixture was heated at 90° C. for 24 hand then cooled to room temperature. The resulting precipitate was filtered, washed with Et2O (25 mL), and dried in vacuum at 60° C. for 6 h to give a white solid (36, 0.484 g, 74.5%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 300 MHz) δ ?8.25-8.30 (m, 1H), 7.51-7.57 (m, 1H), 7.06 (s, 1H); Anal. Calcd for C11H6N3O3F (2H2O): C, 46.65; H, 3.56; N, 14.84. Found: C, 46.80; H, 3.59; N, 14.86.
