Procedure

The mixture of 5-methyl-7-(3,5-dimethylisoxazol-4-yl)benzo[e][1,2,4]triazin-3-amine (compound 7 on scheme (CXXVIII)) (107 mg, 0.42 mmol), sulfamic acid (81.4 mg, 0.84 mmol), and 4-methoxybenzenamine 8 (774 mg, 6.3 mmol) was heated at 180° C. overnight. The product was purified by chromatography (SiO2/CH2Cl2) and the title product (48.7 mg, 32%) was obtained as a yellow solid. 1H NMR (CD2Cl2): δ 2.34 (s, 3H); 2.49 (s, 3H); 2.70 (s, 3H); 3.84 (s, 3H); 6.99 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 2H); 7.57 (s, 1H); 7.83 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 2H); 8.03 (s, 1H); 8.10 (br, 1H). MS (ESI+): m/z=362.1.
