Reacting N-(3-pyridazinylmethyl)ethylenediamine with S-methyl-N-nitroisothiourea by the procedure of Example 2(ii) give N-nitro-N'-[2-(3-pyridazinylmethylamino)ethyl]guanidine. Treatment with hydrobromic acid gives the hydrobromide salt.
