Reaction Steps
8-chlorodibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine-10(11H)-carboxylic acid, 2-[3-[(ethylsulfonyl)amino]-1-oxopropyl]hydrazide (22) was prepared from N-(ethylsulfonyl)-β-alanine, methyl ester (21), prepared as described above in Example 21, and 8-chlorodibenz[b,f][1,4]-oxazepine-10(11H)-carboxylic acid, hydrazide (1), prepared as described above in Example 1, in the manner described in Example 18 above on a 2.0 mmol scale to yield 0.25 g (28%) of product.
