Reaction Steps
Starting with methanesulfonyl chloride and the mixture of regioisomers of 5-chloro-2-(2-hydroxyethyl)7- [(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)methoxy]anthra- [1, 9-cd]pyrazol-6(2H)-one II and 5-chloro-2-(2-hydroxyethyl)10- [(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)methoxy]anthra- [1, 9-cd] pyrazol-6(2 H)-one III, using the procedure of example 3, the title compound was prepared.
