The title compound was prepared according to the general procedure for the synthesis of N-Aryl-benzenesulfonamides previously described using 116 mg of (2-Amino-5-chloro-phenyl)-pyridin-2-yl-methanone and 101 mg of 4-methoxy-benzenesulfonyl chloride. 1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 3.75 (s, 3H), 6.76 (m, 2H, 7.45 (m, 2H), 7.63 (m, 2H), 7.71 (d, 1H, J=8.8 Hz), 7.78 (m, 1H), 7.88 (m, 2H), 8.64 (m, 1H), 10.24 (s, 1H). MS: m/z 403.9 (M++1).
