The title compound was prepared from 2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-6-phenyl-pyrimidin-4-ol (which was obtained in Intermediate 1) and methyl 4-(bromomethyl)benzoate according to Method A and Method B; 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 300 MHz) δ 5.61 (s, 2H), 7.26 (t, J=9.0 Hz, 2H), 7.45-7.70 (m, 8H), 8.25-8.35 (m, 2H), 8.55 (d, J=6.0 Hz, 2H); LC retention time 3.86 min; MS: m/z (ESI) 415 (M−H).
