Reaction Steps
A mixture of 1-6 (102 mg, 0.3 mmol), 10% Pd/C (50 mg), and EtOAc (25 mL) was stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere (1 atm) for 24 h. The catalyst was then removed by filtration through celite and the filtrate concentrated. Flash chromatography (silica, 20% CH3OH/EtOAc) gave 1-7 as a yellow gum.
