Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure C and using N-[N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alaninyl]-L-alanine (from Example D7 above) and pyrrolidine (Aldrich), the title compound was prepared as a solid. The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.15 in 95:5 CHCl3/MeOH) and the product was purified by silica gel chromatography using CHCl3/MeOH as the eluent.
