Prepare by the method of Example 2.5.2 using 1-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoyl)-3-phenyl-3-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine (prepared from (−)-3-phenyl-3-(2-hydroxyethyl)pyrrolidine (R,R)-di-p-anisoyltartaric acid salt) (2.21 g, 5.51 mmol) and methanesulfonyl chloride (0.7 mL, 9.0 mmol) to give the title compound: Rf=0.47 (silica gel, ethyl acetate).
