Combine 1-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-3-(2-(4-(1-(4-fluorobenzyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl-amino)piperidin-1-yl)ethyl)-3-(4-fluorophenylmethyl)-2-oxopyrrolidine (0.53 g, 0.74 mmol) and methanesulfonic acid (0.15 g, 1.6 mmol) in ethyl acetate. Heat to reflux. After 1 hour, allow to cool to ambient temperature to form a solid. Decant the supernatant and add diethyl ether and stir. Repeatedly, decant the supernatant and add diethyl ether. Decant the supernatant and evaporate in vacuo to give the title compound.
