Reaction Steps
Using alkylation method A, 3-methyl-N-[(R)-1-phenyl-2-(piperidin-4-ylmethoxy)ethyl]-1H-indole-6-carboxamide (400 mg, 1.0 mmol) and acetone (0.75 mL, 10 mmol) afforded, after purification (SiO2: 8:2:1 hexane:EtOAc:isopropylamine), 197 mg (44%) of the title compound.
