Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared according to the conditions described in Step B and Step C of Example 47, from methyl 3-[N-(4-chlorobenzyl)-5-(quinolin-2-ylmethoxy)indol-2-yl]-2,2-dimethylpropanoate (prepared in Step A of Example 47), but using 3-cyclopentylpropanoyl chloride in place of trimethylacetyl chloride in Step B.
