Reaction Steps
Each of 7,8-dimethyl-6-phenyl-2-piperdinocarbonyl-4H-thieno[3,2-f]-s-triazolo[1,5-a][1,4]diazepine and 6-(2-chlorophenyl)-8-ethyl-4H-thieno[3,2-f]-s-triazolo[1,5-a]-[1,4]diazepine-2-carboxamide is treated with 70% m-chloroperbenzoic acid in the same manner as in a) to give 7,8-dimethyl-6-phenyl-2-piperidinocarbonyl-4H-thieno[3,2-f]-s-triazolo-[1,5-a][1,4]diazepine-5-oxide, as colorless prisms melting at 213° to 214° C. and 2-carbamoyl-6-(2-chlorophenyl)-8-ethyl-4H-thieno[3,2-f]-s-triazolo[1,5-a][1,4]diazepine-5-oxide as colorless needles melting at 247° to 248° C, repectively.
