The reaction of (R)-5-(5-(3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)-2-fluorophenyl)-6,6-difluoro-5,7,7-trimethyl-1,4-oxazepan-3-one (72 mg, 195 μmol) with Lawesson's reagent (79 mg, 195 μmol) in 1,4-dioxane (5 ml) yielded the (R)-5-(5-(3,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)-2-fluorophenyl)-6,6-difluoro-5,7,7-trimethyl-1,4-oxazepane-3-thione (65 mg, 87% yield) as a white foam. MS (ISP): m/z=386.0 [M+H]+.
