The reaction of (R)-6,6-difluoro-5-[2-fluoro-5-(2-methyl-2H-pyrazol-3-yl)-phenyl]-5,7,7-trimethyl-[1,4]oxazepan-3-one (133 mg, 364 μmol) with Lawesson's reagent (120 mg, 292 μmol) in 1,4-dioxane (12 ml) yielded the (R)-6,6-difluoro-5-[2-fluoro-5-(2-methyl-2H-pyrazol-3-yl)-phenyl]-5,7,7-trimethyl-[1,4]oxazepan-3-thione (137 mg, 98% yield) as a colorless oil. MS (ISP): m/z=384.2 [M+H]+.
