As described for example 283, 6-[3-(5-chloro-pyridin-2-yl)-5-methyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy]-nicotinic acid methyl ester (250 mg, 0.7 mmol) was converted, instead of 6-(5-methyl-3-pyridin-2-yl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-nicotinic acid methyl ester, to the title compound (83 mg, 35%) which was obtained as a white solid.
