The title compound was prepared in accordance with the general method of Example 1, from 2-bromo-6-(fluoromethyl)pyridine (180 mg, 0.95 mmol, Example 190(E)) and (4-fluoro-phenyl)-pent-4-ynoyl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (276 mg, 0.95 mmol). Reaction time: 3 hours. The crude residue was purified by flash chromatography (cyclohexane/AcOEt 4:1) to yield 300 mg (0.75 mmol, 79%) of [5-(6-fluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-pent-4-ynoyl]-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester as a white solid.
